It's been a while since I've posted any real updates. There are some things I wish to inform you about.

First of all, I've been real busy with work, (late spring and all of summer is the busiest time-period for me) and haven't had much time or energy to work on my music. I've also realized that I need to spend more time studying basically everything about making music, from theory, composition, and orchestration, to mixing, referencing, and mastering.

I also wish to spend more time polishing my songs, whether it is re-writing some notes, fine-tuning individual tracks, or doing a better job of making my music sound more clear and professional.

Add all that together, it would take me around three or four months per song, instead of my one-song-a-month goal. But then again, it's not the quantity of music that counts, but the quality, and I need to improve my quality something fierce.

I have also been spending a couple of weeks working with Cubase Elements, and I must say, (I know it is an entry-level version but hear me out) I was a little disappointed. Judging between Cubase and Reaper, and the information I could find about using Cubase Pro, I frankly will be sticking with Reaper, for multiple reasons. Reaper does still have its annoyances, but after working with Cubase, I couldn't believe how well it functioned in comparison. I bought Cubase Elements EDU version for $10 off eBay (physical copy), so it really isn't much of a loss for me, and in fact saved me the multiple headaches I would have had if I went with the Pro version.

As for when I will release another song, that is uncertain. I have a few projects in various stages of completion, and a couple more I would like to start to get some of my ideas that I had in reserve on paper (so to speak).

I do appreciate the continued ratings and feedback, (actually surprised by how much of it is positive) and want to let you know that it helps me to want to continue doing this as a hobby.

Thank you!
